Frequently asked questions
How do I get to Murali Guesthouse Hampi?
Our place is located on the other side of the river from Hampi in a village called Basapur. The nearest town for buses and trains is Hospet. There are two ways to get to us.
First, once you arrive at Hospet, you can take a local bus or local rickshaw to reach Hampi. If you take a local bus, they will take around 20rs per person. They will drop you at the Hampi bus stop, and from there, you need to walk to reach the boat point - around 5 to 10 minutes.
You can also take a rickshaw from Hospet to Hampi. They will charge between 250 and 300rs and drop you by boat point.
Once you reach the boat point, you need to cross the river by boat. After you cross the river, you need to take another rickshaw to get to our place in Basapur. Or you can also rent a bike and drive to our place.
Let me know if you want help after you cross the river. I can send our rickshaw to pick you up for 250rs.
Second, you can take a rickshaw from Hospet to Basapur. If you want to be picked up from Hospet, the prices are below:
Pick up from Hospet to our place with our rickshaw - 1200rs.
